Fortnite and South Park Collaboration: A New Crossover Event
Epic Games has officially announced its latest Fortnite crossover event, this time with the popular animated TV series South Park. The collaboration, which was leaked ahead of time, has been confirmed through the latest Born in Chaos trailer. The event is set to introduce new outfits for Cartman, Kenny, Stan, Kyle, and Butters, as well as a brand new 5-person playlist called Quints, which will be available until February 5.
Free Mini Pass and New Additions to the Item Shop
In addition to the new outfits, players will also be rewarded with free items from the free Born in Chaos mini pass. The Quints playlist will allow teams of five to queue up together in Battle Royale or Zero Build in games consisting of 20 teams per match, a first for Fortnite. The South Park characters will not only be joining the battle as themselves but will also be donning personal mech suits, giving them a fairer advantage in matches.
The Born in Chaos trailer showcases Butters, dressed in his Professor Chaos costume, using the Stick of Truth to turn the South Park school bus into a Fortnite Battle Bus. Butters, Cartman, and the rest of the gang will be equipped with these mech suits, which will undoubtedly add a new layer of excitement to the game.
