Excellent and safe , high quality option if you donât want to carry your laptop in backpacks . Ideal to carry iPads / laptops in flight on work or holiday today trips . Unlike typical clamshell suitcases that open from the middle, this one features a front flap that gives you access to both the laptop compartment and the main storage area, depending on how you set it up. Itâs a detail that makes a real difference in how you use the space.You can either keep the front panel in place with Velcro and use it as a divider (which still allows access to the main compartment), or remove it completely if you donât need to carry a laptop and want maximum space. This is something you donât often see in similar-sized carry-ons. The removable laptop sleeve is another nice touch, and the little interior pocket near the USB port is useful for a power bank.Build quality is great â polycarbonate shell feels tough, the wheels move well, and the telescopic handle operates smoothly. Zippers are sturdy, and the included TSA-approved lock works as expected. You also get a clear 5-year warranty card and well-presented documentation in the box, which adds to the overall premium feel.The price is on the higher end compared to some other carry-ons, but you are getting a better-made product with smart features that cheaper cases usually skip. Der Trolley wird nicht wie viele andere mittig geöffnet, sondern ist durch die aufgeklappte Vorderseite zugänglich – der in der Mitte sichtbare ReiÃverschluss ist nur für die Freigabe der Erweiterung um ca. 5cm.In einer früheren Version der Angebotsbeschreibung war von einem abnehmbaren Laptopfach die Rede, das konnte ich mir schwer vorstellen.Tatsächlich ist das Fach in das man einen Laptop stecken kann entfernbar – auch auf einem der beiliegenden Zettel ist von einem “detachable panel” die Rede.Tatsächlich funktioniert das sehr interessant:Mit den sichtbaren silbernen ReiÃverschlüssen öffnet man die vordere Klappe und erreicht das Fach für den Laptop und ähnliches.Dann kann man dieses mit den dunklen ReiÃverschlüssen öffnen und erreicht das Hauptfach des Trolleys.Man kann auch die ReiÃverschlüsse dieses Faches offenlassen und es mit einem Klett an der Klappe befestigen, so öffnet man dann direkt das Hauptfach.Dieses Fach – also auch “Panel” genannt – kann man auch ganz herausnehmen, falls man keinen Laptop mitnimmt und zuhause lassen, dann hat man noch etwas mehr Inhalt zur Verfügung.Das Scharnier wird dann ordentlich mit einer klettbefestigten Lasche verdeckt.Im Hauptfach ist noch ein Täschchen in das man z.B. eine Powerbank stecken kann, um den USB-Anschluss auÃen am Schloss zu betreiben.Das Schloss ist wie mittlerweile üblich ein TSA-Schloss, also ggfs. von der Sicherheitskontrolle des Flughafens zu öffnen.Insgesamt ist der Trolley sehr wertig und fehlerfrei verarbeitet, Wenger ist ein Markenname von Victorinox aus der Schweiz.Hergestellt ist der Trolley aber in China, was auch auf dem sehr ausführlichen, im Inneren angebrachten Etikett vermerkt ist.Das Material ist mit Polycarbonat auÃen und Polyester innen angegeben, zudem ist noch einmal ein Hinweis auf die 5-jährige Garantie angebracht.Beigelegt sind noch eine Anleitung zum Einstellen des Zahlencodes, eine ausführliche Garantieerklärung, sowie einige Kärtchen mit Werbung / Erklärung einzelner Merkmale des Trolleys.Insgesamt ein hochwertig verarbeiteter Markentrolley mit einem sehr interessanten und auÃergewöhnlichen Konzept.
