First Stop – Al Noor Island
Al Noor Island is a green oasis of calm amidst the city’s hustle and bustle. It’s a true city island. The island features gorgeous outdoor sculptures that blend art and nature seamlessly, including a mirrored one and a dome-shaped wooden lattice over a bridge.
Visitors can explore outdoor sculptures, take peaceful walks, and visit the Butterfly House, home to hundreds of exotic butterfly species in a stunning architectural setting.

Practical Tips for Visiting Al Noor Island
Parking is easy and convenient, but note that you shouldn’t add the first letter of your registration plate when paying for parking via SMS. Special discounts are available for children and those over 60, so be sure to ask about those before paying at the kiosk.

Second Stop – Contemporary Art at the Sharjah Art Foundation
The Sharjah Art Foundation is a small but perfectly formed contemporary art hub. Visitors can explore the latest exhibitions and installations from local and international artists, as well as artists in residence.

We loved our late lunch at The Arabian Fish House, located about a 20-minute drive away from Noor Island, pretty much on the border of Ajman.

Last Stop – Food Shopping at the Blue Souk
End your day with a visit to the iconic Blue Souk, known for its vibrant markets and traditional architecture. Stock up on fresh produce from the massive fruit and vegetable market, where prices are super reasonable.
